Hurricane Prep

Hurricane Season Begins June 1st

What to add to the rotation before wind, water, and pressure make small issues expensive.

Parker Home Care·April 2026·3 min read

In just over a month, Florida's hurricane season opens. The pre-season window is the quiet time. It rewards homeowners who use it.

What we have added to the rotation

Two new roofing professionals have joined Parker's field network in St. Lucie County, both with active Florida licenses, million-dollar general liability coverage, and verified experience with post-storm repair. They are in your rotation should you ever need them.

What we have changed in the inspection

Our quarterly visit now includes impact-window verification, generator load testing, and storm-shutter operability, alongside the standard maintenance checks. Each item is documented with photographs and logged to the home's Parker Home Record.

If you want a pre-season visit

If you would like a pre-season inspection ahead of your standard quarterly visit, message Parker directly. For members, there is no additional charge.

Quiet seasons like this one are when we do our best work. We are grateful to handle it on your behalf.
