Parker stores very little on your device, and nothing that follows you to other websites. There is no advertising, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind.

This page lists everything the website and the app keep in your browser, why each one is there, and how long it stays.

01

What This Policy Covers

This Cookie Policy applies to the Parker Home Care website at parker-care.com, the member portal, and the Parker app for iPhone. Parker Home Care is operated by Biosca Inc ("Parker," "we," "us").

Cookies are small text files a website places on your device. Websites can also keep information in your browser's local storage, which works the same way for the purposes of this policy. Parker uses local storage for almost everything, and a single cookie on its internal staff screens. This policy covers both. How Parker handles personal information more broadly is described in our Privacy Policy.

02

What Parker Does Not Use

Parker does not use advertising cookies, analytics tools, tracking pixels, session recording, or any technology that follows you across other websites or apps. Parker does not sell or share browsing information with advertisers.

The fonts on the site are delivered with the site itself, so loading a Parker page does not contact Google or any other font service.

03

What We Store, and Why

Everything Parker stores on your device falls into two groups. Necessary items keep you signed in and let the site work. Functional items remember your choices so you are not asked twice. Neither group is used to identify you to anyone else.

ItemWhat it doesHow longKind
Sign-in sessionKeeps you signed in to the member portal or the app. Set by Supabase, the service that runs Parker's sign-in.Until you sign outNecessary
Return after sign-inRemembers the page you were on, so signing in brings you back to it, and notes once per visit that any work arranged in person has been linked to your account.Removed once used, or when the browser closesNecessary
Saved page dataA copy of portal pages you have already opened, such as your requests, properties, and messages, so they appear at once while fresh information loads. Kept on your device only.Up to 7 days; removed when you sign outFunctional
Guest address and bookingsIn the app, if you book before creating an account, the address you entered and the bookings made on this device, so you can see them again.Until clearedFunctional
Website or app viewWhether this device shows the website or the app layout.Until clearedFunctional
Tours and remindersThat you have seen the welcome tour or dismissed a reminder, so it is not shown again.Until clearedFunctional
Last property viewedWhich of your properties to show first, if you have more than one.Until clearedFunctional
Face ID settingIn the app, whether you turned on Face ID unlock. Holds the setting only, never any face data.Until you change itFunctional
Staff screensOn Parker's internal screens only: the side-menu position (a cookie named sidebar_state) and completed staff checks. Never set on member devices.7 days, or until the browser closesFunctional

The website also keeps copies of its own files, such as page layouts and images, through a service worker, so it opens quickly and can show a notice when you are offline. These files contain no information about you and are replaced whenever the site is updated.

04

The Parker App

The Parker app for iPhone uses the same storage inside the app, and nothing beyond it. The app does not use Apple's advertising identifier and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

If you turn on Face ID unlock, the check is performed by your iPhone. Parker never receives your face data. Notification permissions, the camera, the photo library, and location are each requested only when a feature needs them, as described in the Privacy Policy, Section 1.

05

Payment and Sign-In Pages

When you pay, you enter your card details on Stripe's checkout page or Stripe's payment sheet in the app. When you sign in with Google or Apple, you do so on their pages. Stripe, Google, and Apple set their own cookies there, under their own policies, for purposes such as fraud prevention and keeping you signed in to their services. Parker does not set, read, or control those cookies.

06

Your Choices

Because Parker stores only what the site needs and what you have chosen, there is no cookie banner to accept and nothing to opt out of.

You can remove what Parker has stored at any time by signing out, or by clearing site data for parker-care.com in your browser's settings. Clearing it signs you out and resets the preferences above. It does not delete your account or your home's record. To delete your account, see the Privacy Policy, Section 6.

07

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers send a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. Parker does not track you across websites and does not sell or share personal information for advertising, so its practices are the same whether or not your browser sends either signal.

08

Changes to This Policy

If Parker begins storing anything new on your device, this page will be updated to list it, and the date at the top will change.
